March Travel Memories

I always get a little nostalgic when March rolls around because that’s when I went on my first short-term missions trip to … THE AMAZON JUNGLE IN BRAZIL !!! All five of my missions trips were challenging and amazing in so many ways. Here’s a few pics (above) of some of the ministry outreaches and beauty I’ve seen around the globe including in Brazil, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Honduras and Peru.

I’m also reminded of that AMAZING March I visited the Holy Land 🔥

I NEVER dreamed I’d ever go to Israel 😮

I got the lovely cross (above) made out of olive tree wood in Jerusalem during my precious time in Israel  💕

Celebrating the Trio of Waiting on God Well, Abounding Faith & Crossing Your Jordan River Books

I’m still amazed that three of my five books were released three years in a row during March/April 🔥🔥🔥

The Trio of Waiting on God Well, Abounding Faith and Crossing Your Jordan River have inspired a diverse group of ministry leaders, Bible college and Bible school students and those just starting on their faith journey.

To celebrate the Trio, I’d like to share the following thoughts and memories:

Celebrating My Dear Dad – Books Edition 🎉: The Trio of Waiting on God Well, Abounding Faith and Crossing Your Jordan River were all released in the springtime 🙌

Love that my Dear Dad got to enjoy those milestones with me 💕

These are some very special photos 😍  The pic on the left is the day I first showed my Dad a copy of my very first book Waiting on God Well. The pic on the right is when my Dad drove me to a television studio where I was interviewed about my books. He’s holding a mug from Abounding Faith’s online store.

Being there to help your daughter celebrate special occasions and to support her in her God-given dreams. That’s My Dad 💖

I still remember these lovely words (above) my Pastor said to the congregation about Waiting on God Well. What an honor to get my Pastor’s blessing on my first book 💕 This was such a special moment.

He went to Heaven before my other books were released.

Grateful that his words and wisdom live on.

I pray YOU are blessed by the Bible verses, insights, action step ideas and prayer starters included in Abounding Faith’s FIVE Christian living books and devotionals.

Encouraging My Friends at The Bowery Mission

What a joy and honor to get to share an encouraging word with my friends at The Bowery Mission during their virtual All Staff Devotions last week!

It’s always an honor to get to encourage and inspire groups 🔥

I was delighted to share an entry from Feisty Faith with them.

Along with sharing an encouraging Feisty Faith entry with the The Bowery’s staff, I’m also teaching an online class at the New York School of the Bible based on Feisty Faith and I do a monthly devotional via Facebook Live for an online global group of Christian Women Entrepreneurs.

Great Book News! [VIDEO & PODCAST EPISODE]

AHHH, I’VE SUBMITTED MY MANUSCRIPT TO MY PUBLISHER ‼️ REJOICE WITH ME 🎉🙌 AND PRAY 🙏🙏🙏🔥 I’m sharing a few thoughts in this short video (above) and Episode 43 of the Abounding Faith for Today podcast (available wherever you listen to podcasts, including Audible).

After years of praying and honing my writing and preparing and after months of writing and rewriting, I’ve handed in my manuscript to my editor at the NavPress/Tyndale Alliance, and it’s entered the editing phase.

I‘ve written for newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs .. I’ve penned & published FIVE Christian living books and devotionals (Available on Amazon).

There’s nothing quite like handing in my book manuscript to my publisher.

What a thrill!

It’s a mix of exhilaration from reaching this writing milestone and exhaustion from the marathon sessions of edits and rewrites.

I hunkered down and focused on this and actually handed it in two days earlier than the deadline!

Much of this process happens behind the scenes, that’s why I’m stopping to share a few glimpses of this process with YOU!

Thanks for your support and encouragement as I work on this important book that will hopefully encourage and empower readers near and far.
